Jaron and the Long Road to Love Is iTunes’ No. 1 Country Album
This week (Tuesday, June 22), the highly anticipated debut album from Jaron and the Long Road to Love hit stores. Jaron, who has a unique friendship with his friends (aka "frans" -- combination of friends and fans), rallied via his Facebook page getting many pre-orders placed in the weeks leading up the official release.
Thanks to his frans, Jaron's 'Getting Dressed in the Dark' album soared to the No. 1 slot on the iTunes country chart less than 24 hours after its release. Jaron's album is also currently in the Top 10 overall albums chart on iTunes. 'Pray for You,' the first single from the album, has already reached gold status, selling more than 500,000 copies.
"I love the relationship I have with my frans and how we have moved mountains together," Jaron tells The Boot. "Without them I'm just sitting in my bedroom playing songs to the wall. Together we are an unstoppable team!"
'Pray for You' recently spent four consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart before moving into the Top 40 of the Hot 100 chart. The single is currently approaching the Top 10 on the country chart as well.
