Taylor SwiftShe's the youngest CMA Entertainer of the Year in history, and a multiple Grammy winner who has sold more than 10 million albums. Now, 20-year-old Taylor Swift is taking on a new role as the face of CoverGirl cosmetics.

"I am so excited to become the next CoverGirl," Taylor tells PEOPLE magazine. "I have admired many of the CoverGirls since I was a little girl ... great artists and actresses who are confident and still themselves. It's like a dream come true to be a part of the future of CoverGirl!"

Taylor follows in the footsteps of some gorgeous company in representing CoverGirl, including Drew Barrymore, Rihanna, Queen Latifah and Ellen DeGeneres.

"I'm a huge makeup junkie," Taylor tells WWD (quote via CMTT). "[I opt for] anything sparkly or bright colored or shiny. I like a natural look in my everyday life, when I'm going to the grocery store or hanging out at my house in Nashville. When I go onstage, I get to play with my look ... you get to play around with all these different characters and I think that's one of my favorite things about makeup – you can put on a new character."

Taylor's 'easy, breezy, beautiful' ad campaign for a new line of luxury cosmetics for the makeup giant will debut on TV, in print and in-store advertising in January 2011.
