JewelJewel is ready to shine again with the release of 'Sweet and Wild,' her sophomore country album. The project is due June 8, with a full tour planned in support.

The Homer, Alaska native released her first country album, 'Perfectly Clear,' in 2008. The disc debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's country charts. Now married to nine-time World Champion rodeo cowboy Ty Murray, Jewel has found inspiration for songs on the new album through her blissful marriage.

"I am so excited to hit the road," says Jewel. "It gives me a great opportunity to spend some time with the fans. There is nothing more rewarding for me than getting the chance to perform some of my new songs along with the hits I've had over the course of my career. These shows really become a sneak peek into my songwriting and my life."

Jewel's Star Light Café tour will begin June 1 in Fargo, N.D. and continue through June 27 in Seattle, Wash. Legendary singer/songwriter Radney Foster will open shows in 14 cities beginning June 11 in Atlanta, Ga.
