Keith Urban poses with his People's Choice Award for Favorite Male Artist. We asked Keith if there's a different feeling to winning a fan-voted award versus winning an industry-voted award.

I certainly don't think one is better than the other. I'm very touched to have the industry support, because it's a team effort. Nashville is a tremendous place, where, within country music, it's about community. When you go to the Grammys or these other non-genre award shows, there's a difference. When you come to a country awards show -- the CMAs, ACMs, CMT Awards -- all these shows have a very particular community feel. The industry is important to me, and obviously the fans are crucial. So at the end of the day, if anybody acknowledges what we do, it's a tremendous feeling. The fans are why we do it.
