I think it's important that the tail doesn't wag the dog. Our industry is becoming so business oriented that people forget that at the end of the day it's just about playing music for some people and hopefully connecting with them. The audience -- that's the first and most important relationship. For me, that's where it starts and that's where it will end. They thread it all together for me. That's where my priorities are.
