Luke Bryan and Emily West will participate in the upcoming season of NBC's 'Celebrity Apprentice,' but neither will be in danger of hearing Donald Trump utter those dreaded words, "You're fired!"

People reports that the singers will be featured in a Nashville-themed challenge with the celebrity teams, determining what it takes to turn someone into a country music superstar. The show has a history with a couple of genuine country superstars, former contestants Trace Adkins and Clint Black.

For her part, West is excited to be included on the show, even if she's stepping outside her comfort zone a bit.

"Reality is so much more fun when it happens with a lot of really famous people," the singer jokes. "Although being on set with four camera crews in your face is quite different from being a viewer perched in my comfy couch!"

Bryan confessed to a few nerves as well.

"It was a little intimidating at first with so much happening around us so fast," he says, "but I just tried to have fun with it all. I'm hoping that I do Nashville, country music and myself proud. I can't wait to see how it turns out on TV."

The new season of 'Celebrity Apprentice,' with a cast that includes singer/actress Cyndi Lauper, rocker Bret Michaels and former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, kicks off Sunday (March 14) at 9 PM ET on NBC.
