Miranda Lambert is starting the new year with her first Top 5 hit, 'White Liar,' and wants fans to know she's hoping to score her first No. 1 with the tune as well.

But in a blog entry, the sassy singer also wants fans to be aware that she plans to do more blogging ... and less swearing!

"I do have a New Year's resolution," Miranda writes. "After a failed attempt at last year's, I am going for it again. I am gonna make an effort not to cuss in 2010."

While Miranda is holding herself accountable, she adds, "Do you know hard that is gonna be considering who I am dating? (referring to boyfriend Blake Shelton). Not to mention my occupation and being surrounded by good, but crazy, people? But ... I do have confidence." In an effort to encourage herself, Miranda even posted an appropriate Bible verse: "Let no unwholesome talk come from your mouths, only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs." (Ephesians 4:29)

Miranda also announced that she's been asked to be a presenter at this year's Grammy Awards (and it's live TV, so swearing is definitely a no-no!) Her little brother, Luke, will be Miranda's date. "He is 21. I smell trouble. Cant wait!," she writes.

Miranda is nominated for Best Female Country vocal Performance for 'Dead Flowers' from her album, 'Revolution.'
