Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert Join Mardi Gras Fun in Florida

Country stars Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert have been added to a long line-up of pop and rock artists who will help celebrate the beginning of Mardi Gras.

Held at Universal Studios in Florida, the weekly concerts (each Saturday between Feb. 6 and Apr. 17) will include performances by KC and the Sunshine Band, Heart, Kool & the Gang, Blondie, Akon, Aretha Franklin, 3 Doors Down, the Beach Boys, Sheryl Crow, Flo Rida and Chicago.

Dierks is scheduled for Feb. 27, with Miranda on March 20. All concerts are included in the regular ticket price for admission into Universal Studios.

Dierks and Miranda each have busy schedules in addition to the Mardi Gras celebration. Both nominated for an upcoming Grammy, Dierks is working on not one but two studio albums, while Miranda will hit the road as the opening act, along with Justin Moore for Brad Paisley's 'American Saturday Night' tour. She is also doing a few solo dates, including stops at Lilith Fair and Country Stampede.
