Tim McGraw, Gwyneth PaltrowTim McGraw may not be singing in his upcoming film, 'Love Don't Let Me Down,' but look for his co-star Gwyneth Paltrow -- who plays an aging country star looking to resurrect her career, to take her turn at the microphone.

"She's a really good singer," Tim tells the syndicated radio show, Country Countdown U.S.A. "You're going to be surprised at how well she sings."

The Oscar-winning actress has been in the studio recording songs for the project, which is currently being filmed in Nashville. And a few thousand lucky fans who get to be extras in the film can catch Gwyneth in the act when she performs a concert scene at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium on Feb. 2.

This isn't the first time Gwyneth has shown off her vocal talents in a film. She exercised her singing chops in the 2000 film, 'Duets,' performing 'Cruisin'' with Huey Lewis.

'Love Don't Let Me Down' is about a rising young singer-songwriter, played by Garrett Hedlund ('Friday Night Lights') who becomes involved with Gwyneth's character. The two embark on a tour with her husband-manager (Tim) and a beauty queen-singer (Leighton Meester).

The film is expected to wrap production in March and hit theaters near the end of the year.
