Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are joining forces to help the armed forces. The couple will participate in Country United, a two-day event in Washington, DC that supports those injured in the military. All proceeds will go towards advanced medical care and other help for service men and women.

"My father Tug McGraw proudly served as a Marine, and I'm honored to play a roll in this very special event," Tim says. "The goal of Country United is aligned with our own mission to accelerate treatment and cures around quality of life issues."

"Our military men and women have sacrificed so much for our country, as have all those who have ever served our nation," Faith adds. "It's my honor to be involved with Country United and to take part in recognizing the tireless efforts of the medical community to advance care for our nation's warriors and citizens."

Faith and Tim will act as co-chairs and performers at the event, while Faith will also serve as the keynote speaker. Country United takes place November 6 and 7. For more information, visit www.CountryUnited.org.
