Forbes loves making lists. Their latest, however, unlike the recent tabulation of country music's top moneymakers, encompasses all areas of entertainment, sports and other aspects of public life, resulting in the Celebrity 100 - The World's Most Powerful Celebriities.

Not surprisingly, Kenny Chesney, who was tops in country music bank-makers, is country's most powerful celebrity, placing at No. 31, just ahead of rap mogul Jay-Z and actor-director Clint Eastwood, and one place below actor-writer Tyler Perry. Rascal Flatts earned the No. 42 spot on the list, while Taylor Swift ranked 69th, wedged between author Stephen King and 'Harry Potter' star Daniel Radcliffe.

Also among the powerful elite: Toby Keith (No. 59) and Carrie Underwood (No. 75). In a profile accompanying the list, titled "Loud, Brash -- and Rich," Toby is quoted as saying, "I used to embrace [the media], but I let go of that a long time ago. I manipulate writers now. If you manipulate them, you'll have thousands of writers who sit up writing headlines, working for you."

Topping the Celebrity 100 list is actress Angelina Jolie, followed by Oprah Winfrey, Madonna and Beyoncé. At No 5, the list's top-ranking male celebrity is golfer Tiger Woods.
