Are Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman trying for baby No. 2? If British and Australian tabloids are to be believed, the couple may be adopting a baby from Vietnam.

Britain's Daily Mail claims the couple have already approached Vietnamese authorities to begin the process. And in a cover story for the current issue of the Australian tabloid New Idea, the deputy of the Department of International Adoption at the Ministry of Justice in Hanoi, Dang Minh Dao, is quoted as saying, "Yes, Nicole Kidman wants a baby from Vietnam. We've been approached by the American Embassy."

Both papers claim Dang Minh Dao refused to say whether the couple had discussed adopting a boy or a girl. "This is very sensitive information. We are keeping it closed," he reportedly said.

Neither paper offered any official word from Keith's camp, but a spokesman for Nicole's Australian lawyer Stuart Gibson said, "We are not going to discuss this situation."

Reportedly, the US and several other countries have refused to deal with Vietnam in matters of adoption due to fears of baby trafficking and corruption.

Although they now live in Nashville, Keith and Nicole both retain their Australian citizenship and are supposedly pursuing the adoption as Australians. Trinh Thi Tre at the Australian Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is quoted in the tabloids saying it's still possible for the couple adopt from Australia. But she refused to specifically discuss the couple's application, adding, "I'm not allowed to say anything about that."

Keith and Nicole will celebrate daughter Sunday Rose's first birthday next month. Nicole has two older children, Connor, 14, and Bella, 16, adopted during her marriage to Tom Cruise.
