Montgomery Gentry’s New CD Supports American Heroes

Montgomery Gentry and Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores are teaming up to to support our troops. The duo will offer a 12-track CD of familiar tunes (and one new song) called 'For Our Heroes,' which will be sold exclusively in Cracker Barrel stores beginning May 26.

For each disc sold, a donation will be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization which raises awareness, offers services and enlists the public's aid in addressing the needs of severely injured service men and women.

"We think it's important to support the soldiers, the men and women who fight for us every day so that we can live in the freedom of this great country, the United States of America," Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry said of the effort.

Pre-orders for the album are being accepted now, and for each CD sold through May 31, Cracker Barrel has announced they will double the donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Cracker Barrel is also giving fans a chance to win a trip for two to see Montgomery Gentry on Kenny Chesney's Sun City Carnival Tour, when they hit Indianapolis on September 19. The grand prize includes two round-trip airline tickets, two nights hotel stay and $200 in spending money. The sweepstakes will also offer three first-prize winners a Copley guitar autographed by the award-winning duo.
