Julianne Hough is leaving 'Dancing With the Stars' after five seasons of hoofing it up on the popular show -- most recently with her real-life dance partner Chuck Wicks. But she's going to have to stay light on her feet to keep up with all the potential projects she's working on, rumored to be working on, or just hoping to take part in.

Entertainment Weekly's Hollywood Insider quotes sources saying Julianne is "a very hot commodity" in Hollywood these days. She's in the running to star opposite singer Christina Aguilera in the big-screen contemporary musical 'Burlesque.' According to Variety, the film tells the story of "an ambitious small town girl with a big voice who finds love, family, and success in a Los Angeles neo-burlesque club." Sources have Julianne playing a fellow burlesque dancer in the film.

Sources also recently confirmed that Julianne auditioned to co-star with 'Gossip Girl' actor (and ex-beau of Carrie Underwood) Chace Crawford in the remake of the 1984 film, 'Footloose.' While no official casting decision has been announced, it's believed Julianne is a front runner for a starring role in the film.

And what's Julianne's man Chuck up to now that he's hung up his dancing shoes? Follow him on Twitter to find out. This weekend he'll be singing -- not dancing -- at a couple of shows in Tennessee and Kentucky.
