Dolly Parton is making the media rounds in New York this week, promoting the Broadway musical adaptation of her movie, '9 to 5.' Dolly wrote every song performed in the play, which is about three female co-workers oppressed by their male chauvinist boss. One of those songs is the autobiographical 'Backwoods Barbie.' But Dolly admits that she had more fun writing songs for this play that she doesn't necessarily relate to -- songs sung by the evil sexist character, "Mr. Hart."

"Mr Hart is going to say everything bad he can about the women," Dolly said Friday on ABC's 'The View.' "So I went alone to my lake house to write, and I was swinging off the banisters singing in my manly voice these horrible things about women. And I thought, 'Women are gonna be burning crosses in my yard!' But I had more fun writing for Mr. Hart."

Luckily, the Mr. Harts of the world are few and far between these days. Or are they? When 'View' host Barbara Walters gushed about the musical, saying it was nice to see how times have changed since the days of men getting away with things like pinching women's behinds, Dolly had a different take on it.

"They still pinch mine, and I let 'em!" she joked.

'9 to 5' the Musical received 15 Drama Desk Award nominations on Friday, breaking the record for the most nominations ever for a show in a single year.
