Out of all the other artists who've cut your songs, is there one that made you the most proud?

Wow . . . that's a hard one. Not really. I've been lucky, because I know a lot of writers who've gone, "Man, they sucked on that song!" [laughs] But I've only had good experiences. I mean, to have an Alan Jackson cut, talk about putting your song in great hands. And Tim [McGraw], Kenny [Chesney] . . . they could get songs from anybody. So I've been lucky that they've cut mine.
