Carrie Underwood Confirms Split From Chace Crawford

Carrie Underwood has finally come clean on her relationship with 'Gossip Girl' actor Chace Crawford, now that it's officially over. The country beauty tells PEOPLE magazine that she hasn't spoken to Crawford in more than a month.

"I'm good alone for a while," she said. "It's been a while since I've just been single and free."

PEOPLE speculates that it was Crawford who ultimately ended the relationship, though sources tell the magazine that it was Underwood who was bothered by the actor's frequent trips to clubs where women clamor for his attention. The so-called sources also reveal that Underwood is still close to her rumored former flame, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, who is now dating Jessica Simpson.

Underwood tells the magazine that she has no regrets, revealing her very mature outlook on dating: "You date to figure out what works and what doesn't," she says. "You've got to go through a lot of doesn't before you find the one that does."
