Eddie Montgomery is lending his time and money to help sick children. The hat-wearing half of Montgomery Gentry, along with his wife Tracy, have announced plans to raise almost $4 million in the next six months to finish construction of a new camp for chronically and terminally ill kids. The project is especially personal for Tracy, as she lost a brother to brain cancer when he was just 9 years old.

"When he was sick, there wasn't anything like this," says Tracy of the new camp. "He got to where he didn't even want to go out. He would sit in the window and watch everyone play."

Camp Horsin' Around is being built in Kentucky near the Montgomerys' home. You can help by making a donation on the camp's website.
